Children affected by conflict, displacement and family separation carry emotional wounds long after immediate needs are met. This collection documents EMERGE's play-based, trauma-informed child development work across the Middle East and North Africa — safe spaces, caregiver strengthening, art-therapy sessions, structured group activities and community-based recovery for children at risk. Every image is captured under EMERGE's child safeguarding policy, with faces anonymised or consented as required.
