EMERGE serves people from across the Middle East and North Africa that are affected by crisis who face barriers to safe support across communities, backgrounds, displacement situations, and geographies.
Support is offered according to need, safety, consent, and responsible capacity, not religious affiliation, nationality, or community status.
Who EMERGE supports
EMERGE works with children, women and girls, men, families, caregivers, leaders, practitioners, and communities living through the long aftermath of crisis.
Refugees and displaced families.
Survivors of gender-based violence.
Children at risk, orphaned children, and children in alternative care.
Persons with disabilities and families facing barriers to services.
Women and girls navigating economic, social, or safety pressure.
Caregivers, teachers, community leaders, faith leaders, lay counselors, and frontline workers who support others.
Communities affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, or prolonged instability.
Community-rooted collaboration between local leaders, partner organizations, and institutions — combining shared knowledge and long-term commitment to sustain recovery from the ground up.
Across communities and faith backgrounds
EMERGE serves people from diverse faith, community, and non-affiliated backgrounds. Faith communities may be partners, but access to care, protection sensitive support, training, or referral is never conditioned on belief, conversion, church membership, or community affiliation.
