Leadership and Team

Leadership and team.

Built by people rooted in the realities we respond to.

EMERGE is led by practitioners and organizational leaders with regional experience, professional training, and long-standing work alongside the communities it serves.

Leadership information is published only where safe and with consent. Context sensitive staff details may be shared with vetted institutional partners under security protocols.

Senior leadership

EMERGE's senior leadership brings together experience in clinical mental health, trauma informed practice, child and family support, training, program operations, partnerships, finance, safeguarding, and regional implementation.

Board of directors

The Board provides fiduciary oversight, governance accountability, financial stewardship, and strategic direction.

Advisory council

EMERGE may draw on advisors in clinical practice, research, safeguarding, humanitarian programming, theology, education, disability inclusion, and regional partnerships. Advisors provide guidance and expertise; they do not hold governance authority, which sits with the Board of Directors.

Why some names may not appear publicly

EMERGE works in contexts where naming country leads, clinical supervisors, field staff, or community practitioners can create security, political, or community risks. Staff safety is part of organizational duty of care.

Names are shared publicly only when safe and consented. Additional details may be shared with vetted institutional partners when appropriate.

Team principles

  • MENA rooted leadership and regional practitioner capacity.
  • Professional integrity and defined scope of practice.
  • Safeguarding as a core practice standard.
  • Cultural humility and accountability to communities.
  • Persons with disabilities help shape the model, not only benefit from it.
  • Faith as a source of values and motivation, never as a condition of care.

Together we can make a difference.

Your support can help a child feel safe, a family begin healing and a community move toward lasting recovery.
