Why is THRC now part of EMERGE International?

In 2026, as our mission grew to include child development, humanitarian response, and community recovery alongside trauma healing, THRC's board formally placed its governance under EMERGE International. THRC continues to exist as its own 501(c)(3) organization — now serving as EMERGE's founding affiliate and the source of the trauma-informed standards behind EMERGE's programs.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

What percentage of my gift goes to programmes?

The large majority of every dollar reaches direct MHPSS, protection, and recovery programmes across MENA, with the remainder covering safeguarding, financial audit, and the platform costs that keep beneficiary data secure. A precise, audited programme expense ratio will be published here once EMERGE International's first independent audit is complete — in the meantime, financial documentation is available on request.
