How Care Reaches People
Not everyone can travel to a clinic. Not everyone is ready for individual therapy. Not everyone has the language yet for what they're living with.

Licensed Clinical Therapy — EMERGE Clinical Center
Lebanon-based. The anchor the whole system depends on. Lebanon carries one of the heaviest mental health burdens in the world — decades of conflict, economic collapse, the 2020 Beirut explosion, the world's highest concentration of refugees per capita.
The EMERGE Clinical Center exists to serve people here who need more than community support can offer. Individual therapy. Child and adolescent therapy. Family therapy. Assessment and referral. All delivered by credentialed professionals within their legal scope of practice.
The Clinical Center also provides licensed clinical supervision for all community practitioners in the THRC network across the region. Every non-clinical practitioner EMERGE trains has a clinician behind them. Without this anchor, no community care system holds.
Community-Based Care — THRC
The Trauma Healing Resource Center is EMERGE's regional community care network. Trained EMERGE Institute graduates facilitate structured group sessions — typically 10 to 15 people — in neighborhoods, displacement settings, and faith communities across the region.
For women who have never had a space to speak. For caregivers absorbing others' pain with no support. For communities where the word "trauma" has no translation but the experience is everywhere — this is often the first safe space they have ever had.
Every THRC practitioner works within defined non-clinical boundaries, under licensed clinical supervision from the EMERGE Clinical Center. Referral pathways connect directly to online counseling and the Clinical Center for higher-acuity need.
How the Levels Connect
Someone who enters through community care can be referred to online counseling. Someone in online counseling can be escalated to the Clinical Center when needed.
